  • Be your own bar crawl...on a 16-person bike.

Gather your friends and take the BIKEBUS on a pub crawl around Breckenridge...visit all of your favorite bars and local watering holes while having a great time! Getting there is half the adventure. The Breckenridge BIKEBUS is not a bicycle built for two - it's a bicycle built for 16. That's right - 16 people ride on the BIKEBUS -- ten pedalers, 5 freeloaders who sit in the non-pedaling seats and a biketender/server that you designate from your group who stands in the center. There are several stops along the route so you can also switch positions from time to time. Motor? - you don't need no stinkin' motor! The BIKEBUS is human powered by you, the rider. BIKEBUS supplies a driver who brakes and steers. You are the engine. The maximum cruising altitude is 9600 feet, and the maximum cruising speed is 5 to 7 mph. Fun, not fast.

The BIKEBUS route starts at the north end of Main Street (near City Market) and rolls south to Main Street Station where the bike turns around and heads back to the starting point at north Main Street. It's a 2-mile round trip along Main street for sightseeing in the open air. Depending on the excursion, the bike may make several stops along the way at various establishments for food and/or drink or for a historical tidbit or two about the town.
