This is truly a winter wonderland that needs to be experienced. The town is cozy, and the mountains provide entertainment for anyone wanting to get outside and breathe some clean air. Guided snowshoe and cross country skiing day trips, backcountry winter hut trips and guided backcountry skiing. AAG guides are trained on-mountain ski instructors with medical and avalanche certifications who can take you behind the boundary lines to explore new terrain with lift-assisted out-of-bounds skiing. Snow science is also important to any backcountry enthusiast and AAG provides a full array of AIARE Certified Avalanche Courses.
All trips include local transportation to trailheads, snowshoes, day packs and poles, and lunches can be arranged if needed.
