Kurt and Danna, owners of L Bar Z Ranch Cabins, welcome you to our private, working ranch in beautiful Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Our brand new charming log cabin and our more rustic Kow Palace cabin are fully equipped with everything you need (full size kitchen, dishes, linens, appliances, etc...). Overlooking the San Juan River, our guests have access to 1/2 mile of private fishing along the famous San Juan River. We are 1 mile East of downtown Pagosa Springs and close to quaint shopping, soaking in the "World Famous" Hot Springs, skiing at Wolf Creek, horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, 4-wheeling, and mountain exploring throughout the 1 million acres of National Forest that surrounds us. We are open year-round and hunters are welcome. We also offer a private land, hunting lease that borders National Forest available in Pagosa Springs during BIG GAME hunting seasons. Our charming L Bar Z log cabin is newly remodeled and ready to accommodate visitors all year long. This comfortable cabin sleeps 4-6 and features a covered front porch for mountain viewing, loft with queen bed and 2 twin beds, large kitchen with modern appliances and gas fireplace, Cable T.V., cozy living room area with full size couch, and BBQ grill available. You are within walking distance to private fishing access along the San Juan River as well as minutes to golf, restaurants, downhill skiing, hunting, cross country skiing, National Forest trails for hiking and biking, snowmobile tours, Hot Springs, horseback riding, sleigh rides and chuckwagon dinners. Our Kow Palace cabin is loaded with charm and history! Converted from an old cow barn, this rustic cabin features antique furnishings, a beautiful deck overlooking the San Juan River, modern appliances, stone fireplace with wood stove, bedroom with one queen and one twin bed, washer/dryer, and large living room with full size couch and extra bed. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin sleeps 4-6 and is fantastic for smaller families, hunters, fishermen, and anyone who enjoys country living! Pets are allowed with permission. Available June - October.
