Ride the Animas in an inflatable kayak & go for the next level of excitement! Great for First Timers, accompanied by a professional Guide! Easy to Learn! Once the spring time snow melt peaks and begins to recede we bring out the inflatable kayaks to offer a higher level of excitement for those who are fit enough and game enough for the adventure.
People on our ducky trips are paddling themselves down the river, getting themselves stuck and un-stuck, following our guides and keeping up with the trip. This is not a sit back and relax trip, but one that requires your full participation.
Safe, fun and suitable for vacationers in search of adventure, this is your opportunity to get more challenge and freedom when you ride the waves. You can even paddle alongside one of our rafts as your spouse floats with the family at the same time.
Our professional guides will take you through a thorough equipment check and river safety course. That's it, and you're on your way. We provide the kayak, paddle, life jacket and helmet. Rental warm packages (Wetsuits, Booties, Splash Jackets) are available all summer and are required during high water.
The Ducky Adventure boost is just $20 more on the half day and $10 more on the economy trip!
Inflatable kayak trips paddle along with our Half-Day or Economy trips on the Lower Animas. Give us a call and we'll work out a reservation that best fits your schedule, or stop by our downtown booth at 643 Camino del Rio in the Albertson's Grocery Store parking lot and get set up in person.
