Fully guided big game hunting and drop camps.
Nothing would please us more than for you to be successfull in filling your tag. Because there are so many rules and different seasons we recommend you go online to www.wildlife.state.co.us and decide what method and season you want to hunt. Most draw licenses need to be sent into the Colorado Division of Wildlife before the first week of April. If you choose to hunt with us, then give us a call and we will help you through the process.
Fully Guided Hunts
Our hunts are five days long. Are ratio is one guide per two hunters. All you need is a license, personal gear, and let us know what method you choose to hunt and we will help you with the details.
Drop Camps
Although we specialize in fully guided hunts, we do offer drop camps. This camp includes one wall tent with wood stove, pots, pans, cook stove, chairs, and table. You must supply your own food and any extras. We will pack you in the day before you began hunting, and check on you every couple days. We will help you pack out game, but perfer you quarter it yourself. For more infomation please contact us.
Archery - Muzzleloading
We take you on a 2 hour horseback ride into camp that is set at timberline (11,500 feet) just below the peak of Grand Turk Mountain. From there you can walk out of the tents to hunt or go horseback to a further destination.
Durango - Silverton Narrow Guage Train Hunts
These are the hunts we feel blessed to offer. Hunters ride into our camp via the Durango - Silverton Narrow Gauge Train (train ticket not included in hunt price) in a remote no public access area around Tacoma, just north of Rockwood. Once the train gets you through the cliffs to Tacoma, you will unload and we will take you to the campsite. From camp you can walk or ride a horse to hunt. After your hunt you just board the train back to town.
