The National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum features 25,000 sqare feet of exhibition space and one of the most comprehensive collections of mining memorabilia, equipment and minerals in North America. Walk-through replica mines, interactive exhibits, diorama room and scale models of historic mining towns and railroads guarantee a fascinating visit for everyone in the family. Housed in the historic 1890's Leadville High School building. Open all year.
The museum is located in beautiful Leadville and open 9am-5pm daily. Also, visit the nearby Matchless Mine for daily tours.
