    Learn about Colorado's wild mushrooms and other edible plants at the 10th Annual Eagle Mushroom & Wild Food Festival, August 2-4. The festival begins Friday night with a speaker meet and greet and panel discussion at the Eagle Ranch Golf Club. Saturday am kicks off speaker sessions at the Capitol Theatre with incredible talent from all over the country - we even have a talk just for the kids! Public forays head out into mushroom country at noon and experts will be available to help identify specimens upon return.

    This year the festival highlights an unprecedented opportunity to taste these wild foods with a Wild Mushroom Sauté and a 9-course Wild Dinner (Aug 3) prepared by famed Denver Chef, forager, and mycologist, Graham Steinruck. This culinary celebration is like nothing you've ever experienced before! Come learn about your local terroir and how our mountain environs can touch your palate and imbue flavors through wild foods.
