North Pond Park in Silverthorne
North Pond Park is a 5-acre park located directly south of the elementary school at the intersection of Highway 9 and Hamilton Creek Road in Silverthorne, Colorado. It's a unique mountain wetland and pond area that is home to nesting osprey and quality catch-and-release fishing. A small warming hut is perfect for a family picnic, a gathering of friends, or a quiet morning chat with coffee.
Non-motorized boating is permitted, as well as dipping your feet (or body) in the water for a quick splash. Be aware, though, the water is chilly! No lifeguards on duty; use at your own risk.
