  • Summer family fun at North Pond Park Silverthorne

North Pond Park is a 5-acre park located directly south of the elementary school at the intersection of Highway 9 and Hamilton Creek Road. It's a unique mountain wetland and pond area that's home to nesting osprey and quality fishing during the summer. A small enclosed pavilion can be used for year-round events and perfect for family picnics, gathering friends or a quiet morning coffee chat.  non-motorized boating is permitted, as well as dipping your feet (or body) in the water for a quick splash. Be aware, though the water is chilly!  No lifeguards on duty; use at your own risk. Other amenities include a picnic shelter overlooking the pond, restrooms, 2 docks, a short walking trail, gas firepit, charcoal grill, picnic area and parking. North Pond Park is the most northern trailhead for the Blue River Trail and an excellent starting point for a daytrip along the Blue River.
