Music in the Mountains Goes to School program is designed to introduce young people to the joys of music in an effort to keep classical music thriving for generations to come. Over twenty workshops were held in elementary and middle schools in Durango School District 9R last year. This program brings world-class instruction to the Four Corners Region while fostering the appreciation of classical music and increasing participation in school music programs.
