Their horses are gentle and are suited for beginner to experienced riders. Native mountain horses, they are sure-footed and allow for a western experience of scenic mountain views, meadows of wildflowers and wildlife. You will ride along the foot hills and high peaks of the Routt National Forest and the Zirkel Wilderness. Horseback tours are guided and specialize in scenic rides with personalized attention. An ideal group size is no more than 4-6 horses; however, larger groups are catered to on an individual basis. Riding helmets are available for children and adults at no charge and are ASTM-SEI approved.

Mount Zirkel Wilderness Area consists of 139,000 acres located in the heart of Routt National Forest, which consists of 1,100,000 acres. Included in the Wilderness Area are approximately 40 lakes, and miles of streams and rivers. Join us this summer for an unforgettable wilderness experience.
