  • Gymnastics for your little ones

    Ages 12 months to 42 months. This class is interactive with your child. You get to be out on the floor helping him or her to practice gymnastics. Emphasis in this type of class is developing gross motor skills, building larger muscle group strength, improving balance and coordination, socialization and sharing.
    Student/ Staff ratio is set at 15:1 and classes are 1 hour long.


    Tumble Tykes


    Ages 3.5 years to 5 years. This class is designed to continue the development of gross motor skills, balance and coordination and to begin building a foundation of rudimentary gymnastics skills. Specific skill development includes cartwheels, handstands, swinging on bars, pullovers, tumbling, and more. We also begin instruction in the vocabulary of gymnastics such as straddle, pike and tuck positions. Socialization skills continue in importance.
    Student/staff ratio is set at 6:1 and classes are 1 hour long.


    Girls or Boys Advanced Pre-School


    Ages 5-6 years
    This class is designed for, but not limited to, students who show a physical aptitude for the sport of gymnastics. Generally students in this class have had some prior gymnastics experience but it is not required. This type of class begins the focus on some of the finer details of gymnastics movement, such as the pointing of toes, keeping legs straight, etc. It also begins to add more of the required movements from USA Gymnastics.
    Student/staff ratio is set at 6:1 and classes are 1 hour long.


    Girls or Boys Recreational and Kindergarten Classes


    Ages 5 years and up.
    Classes are divided age appropriately. This class is for those kids who really enjoy the movements of gymnastics and just want to do it for fun. Emphasis in this type of class is to help kids to develop a positive experience with physical fitness. While we continue gymnastics skill building the student is staying physically fit and active. While these classes are not necessarily designed to move kids into competitive programs some students have found their passion in these classes and have moved on to more developmental classes.
    Student/ Staff ratio is set at 8:1 and classes are 1 hour long.


    Skier Training


    Ages 8 years and up.
    This is a new class for Winter 2010. It is designed to build core strength for skiers through similar exercises to those that we use for gymnastic team training. It will additionally make use of the trampolines and block pit for developing air sense and awareness while twisting and flipping. To help students begin to develop this sense there will be some emphasis on tumbling thereby learning to get their feet under them. Additional emphasis will include leg muscle development and proper take off angle to maximize time for flipping and twisting skills.
    Student/ Staff ratio is set at 8:1


    Girls Hot Shots and Boys Rockets Development Program


    Ages 5- 6 years.
    This is a class designed for advanced students who demonstrate three traits: an ability to listen and take direction of coach and implement changes in performance, natural athletic ability and an inner passion and desire for the sport of gymnastics. It is by coaches' invitation only. Coaches will discuss this as an option with parents and must be agreed to by all. It meets twice a week and focuses on level 4 skills as described in the USAG "Code of Points" for compulsory gymnastics.


    Girls or Boys Pre-Team Training and Eagles Development Classes


    Ages 6 years and up.
    For those who want more than 1 or 2 hours per week. These classes are designed to really start building core strength and overall flexibility. Stretching and strength conditioning are integrated into the learning and development of compulsory skills for the level 3 and 4 gymnasts. Students will also begin to learn routines and link movements in gymnastics. Classes meet up to twice per week for two to two and a half hours.


    Girls or Boys USAG Teams


    Ages 6 and up.
    For the truly dedicated gymnast. Students in these classes have expressed a desire and commitment to the competitive side of gymnastics. In these classes the students are perfecting routines and all manners of skills and skill levels. There is extensive emphasis on the flexibility and core strength training necessary to compete at the highest levels. These gymnasts are expected to compete in at east three meets per year.
    Classes are 3-3.5 hours long, 3 days per week.


    Day Care Classes



    Many local daycares bring their students to us for a gymnastics based physical fitness class. The educational format, goals and emphasis is similar to that of a tumble tykes class. Contact your daycare provider to find out if they are involved with gymnastics.
    Staff student ratio is dependent on the number of daycare teachers that assist. Classes are 1 hour long
