    Beautiful Mountain Trail Rides


    Enjoy a beautiful mountain horseback ride that offers breathtaking views in the San Juan National Forest overlooking Lemon Reservoir. Pack a picnic and bring a camera for a 1/2 or an all day ride. We also offer 1, 2 and 3 hour rides. This is the most scenic and best ride in the four corners just a short 25 minutes from downtown Durango. We have experienced horses for all level of riders from very first timers to advanced riders. Minimum age to ride is 6 years old.


    Our rides start at our ranch based at Lemon Reservoir. We will head up onto the mountain where big overlooks of the lake can be seen. We often see wildlife during our trail rides. Our first ride starts at 9:00am and is usually the time we see the most wildlife.

    If your vacation adventure involves a horse, D bar G Outfitters can meet your needs. We can accommodate large or small groups. Reservations are not required but are recommended.
